I have always been an avid reader. And like most readers, also an avid daydreamer. I would dream up some good content but always felt that the way I write is not good enough.

A while back, I came across Mrs. Sneha’s invitation to attend a writer’s workshop. I know her from Toastmasters and have always enjoyed her creative and engaging speeches. I thought it could be a good opportunity to learn from an expert, maybe improve on my writing skills, and if not anything, it could be just a fun weekly class to interact with people. The workshop proved to be all of it.

Each class triggered my will to write more, experiment more. Right from day one, we got into the creative bubble. With small fun activities, interesting exercises, it kept on pushing the frame of perspective in all directions. Along with teaching technicalities, Sneha ma’am kept familiarizing us with different authors and their wisdom throughout the workshop. By the end, it put a whole new spin on my hobby of reading, as I learned to ‘read like a writer ‘. And now I have an available pathway that could be walked on to ‘write like a writer’!
